Em nhìn mê mải
Chuồn ngô ngủ mãi
Bờ ao cúc tần

Khép tà áo mới
Em vào đêm xuân

Betaking yourself by vernal path
you stumble on​ ​a​ silken red road
Who is there awaiting for you
so that the flowers dress​ up​ in dazzling white?

Betaking yourself into the freshness
you feel like returning to your roots
The nearby rice field​s​, wafted with fragrance,
clothe​ with verdure of youth

Ambivalent about your betrothal
You keep gazing​ at​
a ​dormant​ dragonfly
amidst garland chrysanthemums by the pond

You tuck the panels of your pristine gown
and journey into the spring night
